Mr. Bhuwaneshwor Phaiju is the founder and chairman of Tranquility Spa, Nepal’s largest spa chain. With over 21 years in the industry, he’s a seasoned expert in Ayurvedic and traditional healing. He’s pioneered the spa industry in Nepal, establishing the first day spa and becoming the first Nepalese spa manager in luxury hotels.

Phaiju has expanded his knowledge through training in Thailand and Dubai, and now aims to grow Tranquility Spa into a global brand. He emphasizes the potential of the spa industry, offering higher salaries than traditional jobs, and plans to establish a spa academy to train Nepalese professionals.

He is also the first Nepalese to be a Spa Manager in luxury Hotels in Nepal. After opening first Day Spa in Nepal Mr. Phaiju craved for more knowledge and went for formal study and training in Thailand and learned Thai methods of massage in Chetawan Thai Traditional Massage School, Bangkok, Thailand & Watpo Traditional Medical School, Bangkok, Thailand. After coming back with an international exposure in Thailand and Dubai he decided to develop his organization further and opened the largest Day Spa in Pokhara, Nepal. The extension then even got bigger as three of his friends joined the team. Mr. Phaiju then expanded his brand, Tranquility Spa in luxury hotels and now he is a Chairman of sixteen branches and the numbers are still growing up. Now his plan is to establish Tranquility Spa in South East Asia, Middle East and Europe as the number of health conscious people are growing. As Mr. Phaiju himself was a therapist and trainer, he plans to have an international standard Spa Academy so that other Nepalese don’t have to go abroad for study and spend huge amount of money. He also firmly believes that the remuneration in Spa Industry is almost four times higher than regular jobs in international market. Therefore, he urges college graduates to join the Beauty & Spa Academy and begin the exciting and rewarding career.
